Another Year Comes to an End… Thank You and Have a Wonderful Holiday!

That’s another academic year under our belts! It’s been a busy, memorable and exciting 6 terms, so we wanted to say thank you for your invaluable support. What’s more, the children deserve a round of applause too; as always, they’ve done themselves proud with a range of incredible work that should be treasured in the years to come.

Many thanks must go to FOCCS for all their hard work this year as well; they’ve raised a staggering £21,155. This money makes a huge difference to the school. Over the past year they’ve purchased £250 worth of books for every year group, bought KS1 a new reading scheme, provided money for materials in Arts Week, paid for lunchtime sports clubs, bought two replacement microphones for the hall, paid for World Book Day author visits, supported the KS1 Nativity/Year 6 production and provided money for Emotional Literacy resources. We take our hats off to you.

We’ve also enjoyed a plethora of incredible projects since September. Aside from our new build, we’ve had the pleasure of a Roald Dahl Day, 2 fantastic music concerts, a Young Voices performance, the Dance Festival, Carnival Day, Circus Day, History Day, Alice: The Musical and more. You can get a reminder of these events in the gallery below.

Additionally, we should cheer on Pegasus house. With an incredible 9,419 points, they’re the winners of this year’s House Cup! Bravo.
