“Pupils enjoy a rich and exciting curriculum, which supports their spiritual, moral social and cultural development well and is beginning to prepare pupils for life in modern Britain.” (OFSTED 2014)
The National Curriculum from September 2015 is based around the core subjects of English, Mathematics, Science, and Computing. Because the school strongly believes in a broad and relevant curriculum, foundation subjects are given a high status as well in order to secure opportunities that will develop a strong, all-round experience. This includes Design and Technology, History, Geography, Art, Music, PE, and Drama. We also teach a Modern Foreign Language (French) from Year 1, and RE follows the agreed syllabus alongside enquiry-based learning.
