In Year 4, we aim to get into some really strong routines for home learning that will support children as they move further up the school.
The expectations for home learning are:
- 20 minutes of practice on TT Rockstars each week (a ‘session’ is set on a Monday afternoon and checked every Monday morning);
- Regular practice of the week’s spellings, ready for a test on Friday morning. Spellings are available on Spelling Shed if that is how your child would like to practice!
- Regular reading aloud with an adult, and discussion of what your child is reading.
