Start Date: 1st January 2027

Salary: L7 – L11

Are you a sharp operational leader ready to co-pilot a school’s success?

We are seeking a dynamic Deputy Headteacher who thrives on managing day-to-day momentum and modelling classroom excellence. In this pivotal role, you will be the operational backbone of our school, driving child-centred policies and curriculum design.

By taking the lead on daily operations, you will form a powerful strategic partnership with our Headteacher—giving her the breathing space to lead long-term vision, while you jointly transform that vision into measurable school improvement. If you are a visible, collaborative leader ready to unite a team and make a profound dual impact in leadership and the classroom, we want to hear from you.

As a dynamic and forward-thinking leader, you will work hand-in-hand with the Headteacher to shape the future of our primary school. Your strategic acumen will shine as you lead the creation, review, and implementation of robust, child-centred whole-school policies, while routinely analysing primary performance metrics to pivot strategies and elevate student outcomes.

Balancing senior leadership with a passion for practice, this role includes a two-day weekly teaching commitment, allowing you to model excellence in the classroom. Together with the Headteacher, you will jointly present plans to the Governing Body for approval, while serving as a visible, collaborative leader who unifies staff and ensures early years and primary curriculum policies support the broader school vision.

We would love to show you around our school or arrange an informal chat with our Headteacher, Sue Tudge, please call 01225 863 444.
