Year 4 is an exciting time in your primary school journey, full of fascinating topics and projects for us to get stuck into! We are here to help you along the way, as you learn more about the world around you and participate in lots of experiences to enrich your school year.

This term, our learning is driven by History as we answer the question of what life was like for women in ancient Greece, with all sorts of fabulous facts to be discovered and ways of life to be explored. Please see our Sway newsletter for full details of the learning for this term.

During term 1, we looked at megacities around the world and considered why people might choose to live in a megacity. Megacities are cities whose population exceeds approximately 10 million people, and they can be found all over the world – though we did discover that there are obviously none on the continent of Antarctica, nor Australia which surprised us!
